Artwork Network is not a typical gallery. We are a web-based marketing and management tool for artists focused on creating opportunities for art. We work to save you time and money by sharing your artwork with the world online and by utilizing all of the latest technology to help you connect to buyers. You are then free to focus on what is important: your artwork.

The artist membership program focuses on increasing online visibility so that artists can market themselves more effectively. We are different that most art websites in that we also utilize the power of personal relationships. We use our online inventory of members to put artwork directly in front of an audience of designers, architects, and personal collectors looking for specific pieces.

 REQUIREMENTS: 
All visual artists (working in any medium, discipline, or subject matter) may apply for Artwork Network Artist Membership. Not all members will be accepted. We will base acceptance on whether or not we think the artwork is a good fit with our website and will appeal to our market.

 WHAT YOU GET: 
Online Portfolio of Images (From Entry to Basic, Plus, and Pro)

As Your Only Website:
  Your Artwork Network portfolio can act as a personal website. We manage all site image preparation, uploads, updates and changes. This can be a much cheaper and faster alternative to purchasing your own domain name, web hosting package, designing or paying to have the site designed, and then being available 24/7 to take orders. We also provide a custom domain name such as www.yourname.com so you may send visitors directly to your page.

As an Additional Marketing Tool:
  Do you already have your own website? You may realize that there are thousands of personal artist sites out there... how do you bring the right audience to YOUR site? Artwork Network already has the built-in audience you're looking for. Use the Artwork Network portfolio as an additional marketing tool -- but also link Artwork Network users directly to your personal site!
Art Consultants: Artwork Network works closely with businesses, collectors, and designers to help them find the perfect artwork for their commercial and residential projects. We comb through every artist portfolio on our site, placing the right art in front of the right people.
Online Marketing: We talk about our business and our member's artwork on Google, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, e-newsletters, and blogs. We are continuously growing our number of followers and subscribers, providing more traffic to our website and your artwork.
Searchability: We take the time to enter meta keywords and descriptions with every color, subject, style, and media contained in each piece of your artwork. Is your artwork red? When someone searches for "red" on Artwork Network, your artwork is right there at their fingertips. These same meta keywords and descriptions make you more searchable on Google and other online search engines, too!
Lead Follow Up/Sales: If a potential client is interested in your work, you have the option to have us follow up on leads and facilitate sales for you. We are equipped to take credit cards, handle shipping and collect/report sales tax.




 ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: 
These benefits are not guaranteed to every member. They are not included under the payment of your artist membership, but they are only offered to Artwork Network Artist Members. Yes, we know exactly what you're going to ask: How do we choose who we offer these benefits to? Mostly, it's up to our clients and what's currently appealing to our buyers. But it starts with you. At any time during your membership, you can submit a proposal to be considered.

As an Artwork Network Artist Member, you MAY receive:
Featured Artist Showcase in the Artwork Network Gallery
Every month 2-5 artists are featured in our Denver Showroom. To be considered as a Featured Artist Member, you must submit a proposal. Artists are chosen based primarily on market appeal.
Business Art Rotation Showcase
Every three months, we rotate artwork in venues throughout Denver. Do you want to see your artwork for sale in a public installation such as coffee shops, spas, and restaurants? Then submit a proposal! Artists are chosen based on a cohesive body of 12 to 25 pieces of artwork and on the needs of a particular venue.

 COST: 
There are three levels of membership: Basic, Standard, and Complete.
Our packages start at $35 a month.

 A few things we look for:
• Is the work comparable in quality to other works on the site?
• Does the work have an original style?
• Does the artist have a cohesive body of work?
• Is the subject matter appropriate for our site?
• Do we have similar work already represented on our site?
• Does the work have appeal to our market?
• Is the subject matter appropriate for our site?
• Does the artist have an understanding of our services?
 MEMBERSHIP TERMS: 
Membership is valid for one year after the day of registration. For example, if an individual registers on June 5, 2010, the membership will be valid until June 5, 2011.
There is a one week processing time for every artist application.
After a 90 day trial period, all memberships are subject to a cancellation fee.
We retain 45% commission (40% for sculpture) only on sales that we handle or sales that we have brought to the table.
